The Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn Region is nowlabelled World Natural
Heritage by UNESCO.Known for the extraordinary beauty of its
land-scape,it is the first and only site in the Alps tobear this
honorable distinction.The AletschGlacier is the biggest glacier in the
Alps,with alength of 23 km.To cross the Aletsch Glacier is totake a
magnificent journey into a stunning worldof ice and rocks,Alpine
flowers and forests.
