Tip 33: Lake Ritom (Ticino)
A glass of wine, some alpine cheese, sun and plenty of time - on the
Ritom, the funicular railway is the means, and the Ticinese mountain
hut the goal.
Tip 32: Monte Tamaro - Monte Lema (Ticino)
Start the hike from Monte Tamaro to Monte Lema to the chiming of the
bell of the Santa Maria degli Angeli church - one of Mario Botta's
masterpieces.
Tip 33: Muggio Valley (Ticino)
The Muggio Valley was once very nearly abandoned, but precisely because
the locals place importance on their past, it now lives on into the
future as an open-air museum.
Tip 34: Four-Passes-Roundtrip (Bernese Oberland)
The Swiss PostBus is a national institution, travelling to every
corner of the country. On this tour, the PostBus crosses four mountain
passes in one day: the Grimsel, the Nufenen, the Gotthard and the Susten.
Tip 35: Château de Chillon (Lake Geneva Region)
Montreux boasts Switzerland's most beautiful lakeshore promenade and two very different castles.
Tip 36: Parc Jurassien Vaudois (Lake Geneva Region)
Leisurely tourism in a wonderfully natural area - this is what "Switzerland pure" is all about. Come and discover it in the "Parc Jurassien Vaudois".
Tip 37: Schwarzsee (Fribourg Region)
In the natural countryside of Brecca above the idyllic Schwarz Lake,
traditions live on and are happily shared with visiting families.
Tip 38: The Route of St James (Fribourg Region)
It doesn't always have to lead to Santiago de Compostela - follow the Route of St. James's Way, or the beautiful "Swiss Route" from Schwarzenburg to Fribourg (around 4½ hours).
Tip 39: Creux du Van (Neuchâtel / Jura / Bernese Jura)
In Creux du Van above Lake Neuchâtel, nature plays the leading role -
in front of an audience of ibex in a giant natural amphitheatre.
Tip 40: Doubs (Neuchâtel / Jura / Bernese Jura)
Between Les Brenets and the Maison Monsieur, the Doubs river is constantly changing - a trip along the river is full of surprises.
