Lake Zürich Region

A place rich in winter energy: The sleepy village of Amden, close to the buzzing metropolis of Zürich, lies on a sunny terrace. It’s an energizing place, and, thanks to its manageable piste layout, particularly family-friendly.
With seven lifts and satisfyingly challenging slopes on the Mattstock, it offers plentiful scope for fun on the snow. Also in the Lake Zürich Region, and well worth the short journey, is the ski area of Atzmännig near Goldingen, a popular day excursion. A big hit with guests from near and far alike is a hike on one of the varied snowshoe trails – followed by a delicious fondue!
