The longest downhill race in the world, the 16 km long Inferno race, enjoys cult status and attracts 1,800 participants to the 2,970 m high Schilthorn every January.

The 1,970 m height difference on the run can also be enjoyed by experienced winter sports enthusiasts at their own pace, throughout the winter. Providing fantastic views of the unbeatable panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, this run requires full concentration.
